Dr. Adam Millsop is a board-certified chiropractic sports physician through the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™ (ACBSP™) and achieved the International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic through Federation Internationale De Chiropratique Du Sport (FICS). Dr. Millsop is an active member of the Minnesota Chiropractic Association (MCA) and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). He is a member of the MCA and ACA sports councils.
Dr. Millsop attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth and Northwestern Health Sciences University and attained degrees in Human Biology (BS) and Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). He has been licensed and in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic since 2008. Dr. Millsop holds current certifications in Active Release Techniques® (ART®), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Dry Needling, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Medical Level 3, and the McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT). He is always looking to expand his diagnostic tools, biomechanical assessment abilities, and treatment options.
Dr. Millsop was named the 2020 MN Sports Chiropractor of the Year by the MCA. He was previously presented the Young Practitioner Meritorious Service Award by the MCA. He has been named "Best Chiropractors" of 2015-2024 by MN Monthly magazine. He is a top-tier provider for Optum (Medica, UHC) and "Centers of Excellence" provider through Fulcrum (Health Partners, Cigna, Aetna) which rates in-network providers by outcomes achieved. He was awarded the “Partners With Distinction” award from Fulcrum Health. Millsop Chiropractic has been recognized as a “Best Clinic”, “Best Healthcare Facility”, and “Best Chiropractic Clinic” in the Shoreview area by Press Pubs in recent years.
Helping athletes achieve their goals and perform as they’ve trained for has always been his calling. He has worked around the world at events such as the Ironman World Championship, The World Games, CSIT Games, Team USA Tae Kwon Do National Championship, and the Broomball World Championship. He has worked with many other federations and sports at various levels locally and abroad. He provides sports chiropactic coverage for the players at PGA (professional golf) events and is a lover of all things golf. Dr. Millsop is the team sports chiropractor for the University of Northwestern Eagles.
When not working in the clinic, at a corporation, or at a sporting event, Dr. Millsop is spending time with his son (Jackson), daughters (Avery and Rowan), dog (Dell), and cats (Ludo and Pickles).
